Community engagement
One of the important strands in digital humanities is the use of digital tools and platforms to engage communities, share narratives, and co-produce knowledge. Climates of Inequality’s emphasis on working with local teams and community stories aligns with this. It isn’t purely archival retrieval by scholars, but active collaboration with those affected. They are following best DH practices by making information available to all, and involving community.
In every Climates of Inequalities project, the goal is to get those affected by climate change and environmental injustices the recognition they deserve by having their voices heard.
