Digital Humanities is an interdisciplinary area of study that integrates traditional humanities (history, literature, philosophy, art, cultural studies) with digital tools, computational methods, and data analysis. DH scholars incorporate technology into their analysis, preserve archives, visualize cultural trends, and interpret human behavior at scale. In place of replacing the humanities as we know them, DH promotes them, offering scholars the chance to study patterns over massive datasets that would simply take a lot more time and labor to identify.

Finance is the study of how capital is allocated, risks are managed, valuation, and what decision is made under uncertainty. It explores how people, companies and institutions raise, invest and manage money. Corporate finance, investments, financial markets and financial institutions are some of the key branches. Finance is greatly dependent on quantitative models, statistical analysis, forecasting and structured datasets for decision-making.
