Comics are seeking knowledge on comics in Europe and looking at comics that have been forgotten by people. “Comics seeks to increase collective knowledge about European comic strips through focusing on comics that are often overlooked or forgotten and through presenting results to both scholars and the interested public.” They practice this value by handsomely funding the European Research Council’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
The values from the project align with Digital Humanities values, Experimentation because they are trying to figure out the what, the why to the reason that comics are being forgotten and overlooked and to help keep it from being forgotten they are funding European Research Council to have them research about their own countries forgotten comics and the reason to it.
