Data in project

Input data: This project will bring in information from a plethora of real world sources and information sites. All connected to on the on going housing crisis at West Chester University. Mainly searching for information that talks about the housing capacity in all of the dorms on campus as well as the apartments and free standing homes on and just off of campus. It would also search the entirety of the internet to search for articles from previous years that have been revolving around this issue. I believe another strong point could be reaching out to current students and for them to give us their take on this ongoing issue as well as telling us what they think needs to be done in order to solve this.

Output data: The easiest way to display all of this information is most definitely through visuals, and virtual interactive maps that can be easily accessible to people so they can zoom in on different sections and see what the average price of rent is, and all expenses. The usage of graphs, pie charts, bubble charts and many other online resources will be very valuable make the process much easier of looking for a place to live. Lastly, a section separated just for student feedback and students quotes could be very important so people get a feel of what living with this issue is really like.
