Victim Connect is a website for people searching for resources to help both nationally and locally. The resources can be narrowed down by type of help needed and type of crime that had occurred.
The map on Victim Connect is very similar to the map that would be planned for Domestic Violence Assistance Johnstown. The tabs can help narrow down where you’re looking for help and also what help you need. This type of tool can be very useful for people who may not need all of the resources provided by the website.
Callisto is a digital project that tries to help college students who face sexual assault feel less alone in their struggles.
Callisto uses .edu emails (and other identifiers) to see if a victim’s perpetrator has harmed someone else. This can lead to finding support groups or other resources for the victim/victims. DVAJ would not be connecting people together, it simply functions to find help for individuals.
