Creative writing is the creation of literature that emphasizes on narrative craft, character development, and using literary tropes or various traditions of poetics and poetry. The literatures can fall under either fictional or non-fictional works, including novels, biographies, short stories, and poems. Once the literatures are read, people then have the knowledge that they can discuss with others about how they interpreted the ideas that were shared, opening up different opinions and perspectives that can be interpreted.
This discipline strongly connects to culture in a written form of artistic expression. Millions of people write in order to share their cultures through either stories they create, or their own stories that shares that culture. Writers are able to entertain people with stories relating to the various cultures around the world, while inciting curiosity and passing on the traditions and ideas into literatures that can be found across the world.
