The team behind Novelling created the digital project to pose the questions of reading and writing fiction, and how it inhabits the liminal space between the two activities. Which means the authors are trying to get the audience to think about how we read and write fictional literatures in a new digital reading format outside of the usual norm and the narrative being shared. Alongside how the activities in reading and writing can transition between the two.
Creative writing is about sharing different ideas and provoking new ones to be made between people, and what kind of perspectives can be made from the fictions that were read. Digital Humanities is expanding upon how to tell stories to people, and how ideas can be shared that on paperback would have been unable to do so.
