BOKEH

Bokeh, Jekyll and GitHub were all tools and technologies used to create the website and to organize the projects data. Bokeh allows for the data to be put into a beautiful visualization instead of graphs and numbers, which is impactful for the audience

Bokeh is for interactive data visualizations; it allows website users to explore the projects SNL influence across media platforms. Bokeh is used to let the user filter and analyze the data which helps the website fulfill its interactive engagement.

The project highlights its use of Bokeh and its role in data driven analysis while creating a accessible space for all users.

calculation coefficient for each SNL alum using the following formula:

  • 10% Number of Episodes Hosted (number of episodes hosted/number of most hosted times)
  • 10% Best Of compilations (a 0/1 value)
  • 15% Number of Episodes with Weekend Update
  • 15% Number of Seasons as Head Writer
  • 25% Number of Episodes (46% Credited on Show as Actor, 44% Credited on Show as Writer, 10% for Other Credits)
  • 25% Number of Seasons (46% Credited on Show as Actor, 44% Credited on Show as Writer, 10% for Other Credits)
