Input Data
This 90’s DH project uses a very old database source titled, “The Survey of Scottish Witchcraft.” This database grants the user access to explore nearly 4,000 records of accused witches and documentation of witchcraft belief through interactive maps and graphs. The user is also given the option to search based off the category they desire to research such as the accused witches by name, the cases themselves, or even the people involved.

Output Data
Using the data from, “Survey of Scottish Witchcraft,” they were able to use the given database as a tool to better visualize the older project that had limited technology and resources compared to today. They did this through the use of easily accessible interactive maps which gave the user the ability to find out the name, gender, manner of death, and anything else they might want to know with just a single click.
