They are partnered with several museums who allow them exclusive access to such close proximity of the artifacts. Most of the models they post are Roman engravings, and these models can be viewed directly on the project&#8217;s website. Users can move the model at any angle as well as zoom in and out, providing a close up 360 degree view that is often impossible in a physical museum. The Third Dimension of Music&#8217;s main concept is similar in the fashion of creating digital models to be experienced by the world. Rather than ancient human history from past civilizations, the medium of choice is music from recent history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While not related technologically, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grammy.com\/grammy-foundation\">GRAMMY Foundation<\/a> is very active in its pursuit of saving music&#8217;s history. Their Music Preservation Project donates generously to music preservation efforts and welcomes applications for grants.
