There are many different universities across the country where students can use their ID cards to pay for things at local merchants. However, many of these schools do not show where students can use them. For example, Penn State University and Ohio State University list where students can use their student IDs, but do not map out where.

Along with only showing where these merchants are in list form with no map, these universities also don’t have apps that make it easier for students to find these places. When you type in “LionCash” in the App Store, the only option that shows is “LionPATH” which shows students’ grades, schedules and payment information (similar to MyWCU). Similarly, when you type in “BuckID” in the App Store, nothing that shows up is even related to Ohio State, and when you type in “Ohio State” the only things that show up is the official Ohio State University app, which is similar to LionPATH, and the Ohio State athletics app.
