While brainstorming ideas for this project, three key values kept cropping up. Openness, Collaboration, and Transparency.
This project requires people to collaborate in order for the information to be gathered and hosted on the website. If all of the information came from one or only a few sources, it would not work as an educational tool, as the topics collected would be biased towards the experiences and art interests of that single person or group
In this context, openness and transparency are connected, and hit at many of the same points. By allowing the user’s thoughts and data to be visible and archived for the duration of the project, a window into each person’s artistic experiences is opened, and stored digitally.
