This project reflects this particular area of digital humanities through analyzing and collecting pictures in a social media platform used globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through social media sites such as Instagram, people from all over the world share their activities through pictures and give access to how we carry out our lives in different settings. Different cultures are put on display and a comparison of daily activities are shared whether it is the meals we eat, the way we travel to our cities, or the activities we enjoy in our free time. Through comparisons, we can learn about each other and places we may never get to meet or go to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The diversity is found in the people and the selfies themselves. The types of selfies analyzed are from people of different backgrounds, ethnicities, and overall diverse lifestyles. This is another way in which we can learn about the other people we live among. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This particular project focuses on the selfies of people taken in 5 different cities and comparing the way selfies are taken in each of these cities. These patterns can then be used to tie together cultural aspects and differences not yet noticed or to emphasize ones already made.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The values being focused on in this review other than the places and locations are diversity and culture.
