The Archive of Digital Art is a digital project that documents and collects digital art for the preservation of a increasingly ephemeral medium. Originating from Berlin Germany, Dr. Oliver Grau founded the archive in 1999. The Archive is an artist orientated project arranging work separately from other visually or temporally similar works. Clicking on a piece gives the viewer full info about the work ranging from digital format, sources and exhibition history. The website also features artist profiles with updated CVs and about pages allowing you to learn about the artists as well as viewing their entire discography.
