This app takes information like traffic conditions, accidents, weather, blocked roads, police traps, and plenty of other information. This helps its users to determine whether or not they should take a certain route, or to plan ahead if it is their only option. All one has to do for the app to collect data is have it open while you are driving. You report all of the traffic conditions in the app for additional help to users around you. Waze calculates your average speed, improves road layout, learns road and turn direction, and checks for errors. Waze closely resembles West Chester Waits because of how it takes user input of traffic and time for how long getting to a destination takes. They differ in that Waze gives you an amount of time to walk or drive to a location versus how long a line is for food.

Rate My Professor

Rate My Professor is a website built by college kids designed to help others in college find professors that will be best for their needs. 1.7 million professors have been rated in over 7,500 colleges/universities in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Since it is a user-generated website, over 19 million ratings have been made on college professors. Over 4 million students use the website each month. With plenty of ratings, this website is a great tool for figuring teachers you would want or try to avoid. This website is similar to West Chester Waits in that it is all user-generated information. Rating of professors compares to timing how long the user is in line to help others a base to make decisions.

Artmaps

Artmaps is an app and website allow you to browse over 70,000 artworks from the Tate’s Collection which associates the works with locations using information from their description or title. Artmaps shows the user paintings that were inspired by a location they are currently near. As well, users are able to search different locations around the world to seek different works that are not anywhere close to them. Some locations are pin-point accurate while others are on a broader spectrum like towns, cities, country, as well as mythical places. Like West Chester Waits, this app takes user locations to show things happening near and around their area. Both allow you to search quickly and easily for the information desired.

Waze Waze is an app that analyzes your location data while traveling.
