MySQL Database:<\/p>\n

  • Open source relational database system, that has been fully developed and thoroughly tested<\/li>\n
  • We will have to create a database that will act as a log and store all of our information for our heat map<\/li>\n
  • Will collect information from WCU’s firewall to find unwanted traffic into the network<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n

    Mapline Visualization:<\/p>\n

    • A visualization tool that will allow use to display our information from our dataset<\/li>\n
    • We want to build a heat map to show real time data of malicious attacks against West Chester<\/li>\n
    • Will show data on when, where, and what each attack is that comes across the RamNet Network<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n

      • Will come from logs from West Chester’s Firewall and the installed antivirus software<\/li>\n
      • Will track what the malicious data is, when it happened, and where it happened at<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n

        • This project will work best with user agreement and willingness to participate<\/li>\n
        • The more knowledge we can gain the more we can learn to protect ourselves<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n
