Under the “Group Category” section on Ram Connect, there is no drop down for book clubs. I propose to create a category that holds many recognized book clubs on campus.
I want to establish a way to, at minimum, create a space for WCU students to suggest book club ideas and suggestions.
I want to create a way for students to easily access notices and suggestion forums by way of fliers and adding accessibility on Ram Connect.
With the end of the Fall 2025 semester, starting up this would take place during the Spring 2026 semester. By starting at the beginning of a semester would not only bring in existing students, but new students as well.
Why I want to do this is to create accessibility around campus for people to connect over shared interests of reading. Culture would be spread through reading and meetings that further discuss modern and past issues.
