Goal 1: Transparency<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A central goal of Stop ICE is to create transparency around U.S. immigration enforcement by transforming hidden or localized events into publicly accessible data. Through its nationwide crowd-sourced alert system, the project collects and maps reports of ICE raids, detentions, and sightings, turning scattered individual experiences into a visible digital record. This visibility empowers journalists, advocates, and researchers to identify patterns of enforcement and hold institutions accountable. In the context of Digital Humanities, this goal reflects a commitment to open data and documentation \u2014 using technology to democratize access to information that shapes real lives and communities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
