Communication Studies & Digital Humanities
This project analyzes how Communication Studies, specifically the study of digital communication and its impact on adolescent well-being, intersects with the methodologies and goals of Digital Humanities. Using the project “Programme on Adolescent Well-Being in the Digital Age” and research from the “Social Media Use Only Helps, and Does Not Harm, Daily Interactions and Well-Being” demonstrates how digital tools and data collection are used to understand communication trends among adolescents in online spaces.
This interdisciplinary approach highlights how Communication Studies research intertwines with Digital Humanities’ emphasis on digital tools and social well-being.
