This project focuses on the archives of Malian photography, Art History as a discipline, and how the archives relate to Digital Humanities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Art History is an important part of culture and our world, it even relates back to archives of Malian photography that are preserved and digitized collections of six important photographers. The team of US and Malian conservators have been cleaning, scanning, cataloging, and rehousing over one hundred thousand photos. The photographers talked about in this research are Mamadou Ciss\u00e9, F\u00e9lix Diallo, Adama Kouyat\u00e9, Abdourahmane Sakaly, Malick Sidib\u00e9, and Tijani Sitou.
