Biomedical engineering’s main purpose is to attempt to implement the processes of engineering into our medical field through medicines and prosthetics. They research most of their processes and inventions through both qualitative and quantitative studies. The quantitative research is done through the multiple attempts to complete the inventions or processes with a low failure rate. While the qualitative is done through fine tuning inventions and processes that have already been proven to have a low failure rate. With both methods of gathering information being the main goal of having easily understandable research available to anyone who would require access to it.
