The “COINS” Data Source:

“COINS” takes their data directly from the Münzkabinett
Online Catalogue. This is the official source where historians put information about each coin. There is a museum that you can tour to see some of the coins in person. The “COINS” project hyperlinks each coin in the visualization to this catalogue to inform the user about each coin.
