The project answered critical questions like &#8220;How did the Homestead Act shape Indigenous land loss?&#8221; not just &#8220;Where did homesteads occur?&#8221; Historical context and sources cited were included with all primary documents, maps, treaties, and census data. One of the faults was shown in the case that users can&#8217;t view or download data to access themselves.
