In their simulations, researchers are able to see misinformation and develop strategies to combat the spread. They also developed mechanisms that help inspire users to stand up for victims of cyberbullying, in other words, be an up-stander. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Truman Project&#8217;s value of combating online harm aligns with two of Digital Humanity&#8217;s values: diversity and openness. Digital Humanities encourages more diversity than traditional humanities in the sense of gender, race, bodily abilities, and language.
